Sometimes it seems like it is cheating to shoot sunsets, about all one has to do is point the camera and push the shutter button...I would love to go back and shot this evening over and over, it was one of those times when the light is magical and each direction had a different flavor.
When my two boys were fairly young they were curious as to which insect was my favorite...it took very little consideration for me to pick the dragonfly. The original helicopter...and all the beautiful iridescent colors.
These guys are the one who didn't "make the cut"...the birth rate for these sea lions is about 50/50 - male/female, but the dominate males have harems that number around 30. So for every male with a harem there are approximately 29 permanent bachelors who hang out around buoys eating fish and squabbling...
Many years ago I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Visual Design. With certificate in hand I set out to make my way in the world. My pursuits lead me through the realms of advertising, publishing and internet development.
Several years ago I rediscovered my love of photography. So now if you ask me what I want to be when I grow-up my answer is
definitively “a photographer.” I love seeing and capturing images and only hope that the inspiration I feel is shared with others as they view my work.
